The Breathe Method
Hypnotherapy In San Francisco

As an experienced hypnotherapist in San Francisco, I use The Breathe Method to empower positive suggestions to facilitate specific changes in the subconscious mind and calm the nervous system.

The approach is SIMPLE and EFFECTIVE – Life Changing!

We all acquire habits – some effective and some not.

Scrolling through social media can become an obsession for some people to the extent that they cease to LIVE their life. Here are a few habits, but they are only a few.

Overeating, undereating, drinking, smoking, or excessive shopping can become obsessive habits that form in response to other issues in your life. Unfortunately, those habits don’t get to the root of the problem.

Ruminating on thoughts conjured in your mind and constantly comparing yourself to others can make you desperate. That desperation and your thoughts can make you want to sleep all day or experience insomnia.

Past or present events in your life can cause depression, negative thinking, anxiety, and stress, making it difficult to move forward. And how about the negative messages we get (that start early) from peers, family, friends, colleagues, teachers, and coaches – that stick to us like glue?

Telling yourself that you lack self-esteem, are not good enough, don’t deserve it, or will never have what they have can keep you stuck, making it impossible to feel optimistic about your life.

The words “I can’t” make you feel like anything you try will seem impossible. For example, if you say I am bad at finances or some other endeavor, you won’t get better at something.

Here are some negative phrases guaranteed to destroy your self-esteem. “I have tried repeatedly, and nothing works. I wish I could motivate myself, I used to have more joy for living, or I will never have the relationship(s) I want.”

Then, some behaviors pass the buck. “If it weren’t for the pandemic, I would do such and such.” That is a cop-out.

What about your body?

Stress anxiety, ineffective habits, heredity, and lack of self-esteem cultivated by negative thoughts and behavior can impact your body.

Chronic pain can result.

Unhealthy behaviors (see above) can cause immune disorders, cancer, and the inability to breathe correctly.

Low self-esteem and self-image might make you seek plastic surgery or weight loss surgery.

Hypnosis always begins with an experience of deep relaxation. Still, to push that proverbial “Get Unstuck” button with confidence, as an expert hypnotherapist in San Francisco, I can assist in helping you go beyond the relaxation stage and introduce your mind to different possibilities – thoughts and realities you never thought were possible.

And the best part is that while experiencing this profound state of relaxation, you are also acutely aware and intensely focused. Your conscious mind is more receptive to hearing, receiving, and acting on the positive suggestions YOU want to hear. Consciously, you want to change, but the old messages stuck in the subconscious inhibit change, creating FRUSTRATION.

With The Breathe Method Hypnotherapy offered to San Francisco clients and those across California, you will receive a recording of the hypnosis to listen to daily! This approach differs from something you may find online because it is unique! Hypnosis clients commonly say they feel more relaxed than ever before.

Belief creates change. Stuck behaviors and messages don’t happen with one session – it isn’t magic. The method requires work and willingness, but the work is kind, compassionate, and forgiving. After three sessions at my San Francisco hypnotherapy practice, we can turn on the lights. Regular repetitions of positive affirmations help some people, but many of us have inner resistance to believing them.

Identifying what isn’t going well makes change possible.

Some part, way down deep, convinces us, “but that’s not true.” And when that happens, we reject the affirmation.

While in a hypnotic state, there isn’t any “getting stuck.” Instead, there is receptivity. Think of it as bypassing your inner critic and self-created obstacles and opening your mind to an open lane of possibilities.

It’s important to note that you always control hypnosis. You can still reject a suggestion, but you also have more choices to accept the suggestions. That’s because when the mind slows down the part of you that used to say automatically, “that’s not true,” there is space to become quiet, curious, and receptive.

I will listen to your story in the first session (75-90 minutes), empathize, and ask questions. I will include Hypnotherapy in the first session.

After that, I will customize each session so that you feel supported to reach your desired outcomes. We work together to explore your current situation fully. Then, we thoroughly examine your desired outcomes.

Whether in the comfort of your home or my office, you recline back and relax. Any place you feel safe and at ease. You will feel amazing by the end of the session. More importantly, you will already see your life in a new way and create new pathways for success with all your priorities.

Clients begin progressing from the first session, and each session builds upon the previous ones. Hypnotherapy is different from traditional therapy. With practice and learning the techniques, change happens quickly.
